St. Louis Young Adults Taglit-birthright israel Trip

Summer 2007

Although the summer is in full swing, it is not too early to make plans for winter break. You are invited to join St. Louis graduate students and young adults for a free 10-day Israel adventure!

This Taglit-birthright israel trip with Mayanot is available to young Jews—regardless of background, affiliation or practice—ages 21 through 26 years old who have never been to Israel on a educational tour with their peers. Even if you have gone to Israel with your family you are still eligible! This trip is specifically geared to graduate students and young adults living in the St. Louis area and is scheduled to depart during the last week of December, 2007. (Detailed trip dates and flight information to follow.)

The program includes flights to Israel, accommodations at quality hotels, meals, a private bus & licensed tour guides, entry fees, emergency medical insurance, and much more! A $250 fully-refundable deposit is required to secure a seat and will be returned after the program. Participants will also need to pay for transportation to the city of departure (usually New York or Chicago), and bring some money for shopping and tips. That’s it!

The Taglit-birthright israel: Mayanot trip is suitable for conservative, orthodox, reform, unaffiliated and “just Jews.” Check out www.mayanotisrael.com for much more information and videos. There are over 20 different trip providers for Taglit-birthright israel trips and Mayanot is the largest provider in the St. Louis region because they care! Don’t take my word for it, please contact other St. Louisans who have gone with Mayanot and ask them how great the program really is.

You may invite your friends to go with you. Just ask them to register with Mayanot, and send an email to birthright@mayanotisrael.com with the names of your friends who you want to go with you. Ask them to enter “STL 22-26” in the referral code.

Registration for the winter trips begins on September 5, 2007 at 8:00 AM at www.mayanotisrael.com. As the trips are very popular, please register as soon as possible. There is no obligation to actually go when you register; you can even have your entire deposit refunded until October 31, 2007.

Enclosed in this Info Pack are testimonials, Mayanot’s Vision Statement, a sample itinerary, and Frequently Asked Questions. If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to contact me.
